The name Homegrown Connections was inspired by the song "Homegrown" by the Zac Brown Band. "I've got some good friends that live down the street." "I've got everything I need, and nothing that I don't." This is ultimately our goal for our participants of Homegrown Connections. 

Zac Brown Band has been a huge inspiration for us. Not only do they inspire kindness, understanding and happiness with their songs and lyrics, but Zac Brown has taken his success and given back to the Developmental Services field by the creation of Camp Southern Ground in Georgia.
